We are delighted to have been awarded funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery!

St Paul’s Hostel are delighted to have been awarded over £104k of funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund.  The funding has helped us to recover most of the financial impact that COVID-19 has had on the charity for this Financial Year. This includes loss of revenue incurred reducing occupancy to comply with Covid Safe guidance, increased staff working hours and we have re-introduced, for a 6 month period, a Support Service to all resettlement properties. This is something residents of resettlement have told us they want following the ending of the Supporting People funded services in 2016.

“We are extremely grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund and to the Government for making this happen!”

Annamarie Balram, Fundraising Manager said “Our application, was in response to Covid-19 pandemic. It illustrated the impact on the homeless community and the organisation; how we have adapted services and how we foresee this impact over the coming months. This funding has been vital to enable us to continue to in our mission to ‘help people to live through homelessness in order that they have a place where they belong.”
