Working with Partners

We work together with a number of partners to help us achieve our mission to end homelessness.

WE RECOGNISE OUR LIMITS

Our model has transformed to create the conditions where every resident has the chance to help themselves and recover but national government have the levers to improve poverty, childhood adversity and inadequate housing and local government can use its regulatory and convening power to coordinate local systemic changes. Give the public these insights and ask them to lobby those who represent us.

The Forge

The Forge is a Redditch based Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) providing Alternative Provision for 11 – 16 children. The school has strategically accepted and operationally embedded both an therapeutic and educational ethos captured in the its two primary tasks; To educate traumatised young people and to re-parent traumatised young people.

At the heart of the ethos is the understanding of that pro social systems of Play, Seeking and Care acts to block the learning systems of Rage, Fear, Panic and Grief and the executive functions which are handling stress, thinking and concentration, confidence and self-esteem, interpersonal skills and emotional literacy,

Many people who come to St Paul’s for help have a history of exclusion from school, childhood adversity and trauma. The leadership of The Forge and St Paul’s collaborate on informing policy development, staff development and practice.

Pebblebeach Fundraising

As a full service fundraising agency, we worked with St Paul’s Hostel to become a fantastic fundraising charity. We helped to create their first fundraising strategy to take forward into the future with their wonderful staff. We are proud of the work they do and the special people they support – and we’re grateful we could be part of the journey.
