Our Vision
St Paul’s believes that everyone
has a place where they belong.
We're committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness - making it rare, brief, and non-recurring. We work with kindness to bring a sense of immediacy & action to the causes, symptoms & effects of homelessness.
St Paul’s is an independent charity which brings urgency, compassion, and practical solutions to the causes, symptoms, and effects of homelessness. Trauma-informed principles shape how we design and deliver our services, influencing every interaction, decision, and partnership. By recognising the impact of trauma and responding with compassion, consistency, and clarity, we create environments where people feel safe and understood — leading to stronger engagement and better, more sustainable outcomes.
We build safety and trust through consistent action, reliability, and honest communication. We work in partnership by sharing power and valuing lived experience. We promote equity and choice by removing barriers and tailoring support at each person’s pace. We challenge apathy and injustice while holding clear, realistic boundaries that help people feel safe, respected, and able to move forward.
We are guided by values that shape everything we do:
- Action, not words
- Challenge apathy and indifference
- Working in partnership
- Building trust through consistency and carefulness
- Creating real choice and opportunity
- Honesty about our limits
