By giving a small donation to St Paul’s this Christmas, you can help us to deliver long-term support to those who need it most. Your donation can be used in a number of ways this Christmas, which will help us to deliver much bigger impact for those experiencing homelessness.

Ways you can support St Paul’s this Christmas:

Sponsor a Christmas Lunch

For many years, we have been blessed by the very generous donation by Baldwins Butchers with Turkeys for our Christmas Day lunch for our residents.   We also receive donations from Brakes.  We are so grateful for this support.

Christmas for many is not always the joyous, family filled occasion we often see depicted in adverts.  For some, Christmas is lonely, Christmas is challenging.  For people who are experiencing homelessness, Christmas can be the most challenging and loneliest times of the year.  It can also be a trigger of past trauma.  At St Paul’s we work hard to ensure that our accommodation is safe, secure and that residents feel safe.  Not only for those who live on site, but for those who live independently but receive support through our services.

Christmas Day lunch is a special time for all families, and the St Paul’s Family is a very special one!

A donation of £10 will cover the cost of a traditional Christmas Day Lunch, with all the trimmings for a resident.

Donate your Christmas Greetings

Following the success of last few years campaign, we are again encouraging you to donate your Christmas messages in lieu of sending Christmas Cards. We will be encouraging all our staff to do the same.

It is simple to do, simply click on our donate button, include your message and we will share those messages on our Social Media platforms. Let’s spread some Christmas Cheer in these really challenging times. Why not encourage your work colleagues, friends, and family to do the same.

We look forward to reading all your Christmas messages.

Desserts for December

In 2022, a local group of organisations donated £200 which enabled our Catering Manager to provide our residents with some delicious cakes and desserts during the month of December.  These treats were very warmly welcomed by our residents and a real treat for them.It was a lovely build up to Christmas, which for many, is a very challenging and lonely time.

Are you a local group, company or organisation that would like to Sponsor our Desserts for December? If so, please contact our Fundraising Manager, Annamarie Brant at annamarie.brant@stpaulshostel.co.uk
