The Big Worcester Sleep Out 2025

The Big Worcester Sleep Out is back for 2025, and needs you to join on Friday 11th April at Henry Sandon Hall, to help combat homelessness.
Now in it’s sixth year, the event, organised by Maggs, St Paul’s Hostel & Worcester Warriors Foundation; is not about replicating homelessness but about raising awareness, funds, and understanding, to address the complex root causes surrounding homelessness. Every pound raised will go towards essential services, from emergency accommodation and employment programs, to mental health support and long-term solutions.
Andy Price, CEO of Maggs, states: “We hope this event sparks discussion on why people are still homeless and what we can do to stop it.”
Rough sleepers are among the most stigmatised groups in society, often mislabelled – However, many find themselves in this situation through no fault of their own, with 25% of rough sleepers, experiencing homelessness due to mental health problems.
All three organisations involved in The Big Worcester Sleep Out work together, ensuring that individuals who often feel “let down” receive the consistent support they need.
Carol Hart, CEO of Worcester Warriors Foundation, adds: “We support young people at risk, helping them build skills and self-respect.”
No agency can work in isolation – effective support requires a collective effort. The underlying goal of the charities is to provide a cohesive approach covering early intervention, immediate housing needs, and a life beyond homelessness.
Erica Burlace, CEO of St Paul’s Hostel, highlights: “Homelessness isn’t just about losing a home—it’s about losing security and hope. Through awareness and action, we can change lives.”
We need YOU to be part of this. Sign up as an individual, with friends, or as a business team, and help raise funds to support the most vulnerable in our community. The night will feature guest speakers, personal stories, and a strong sense of solidarity.
Join The Big Worcester Sleep Out 2025 and take a stand – because everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
